Moholy Nagy who since 1923 directed the metal workshop of the Bauhaus, assigned & ograve; in Wagenfeld the study of a lamp.
Later Wagenfeld drew & ograve; the glass version.

The Swiss designer C.G. Jucker, who at the same time was attending courses at the Bauhaus, claimed; like his, the design of the glass version.

There is no evidence in the Bauhaus archives that can deny or confirm this assertion.

This is the reason why often both Wagenfeld and Jucker are both cited as authors.
