Asnago Vender (1904 - 1986)

1922 - on the same day they obtained the architecture license from the Royal Institute of Fine Arts in Bologna & nbsp;
1925 / 26 - the debut works carried out together are competition projects. The first is; for the monument to the Fallen of Como & nbsp;
1927 - they participate in the competition for the entrance of the Fiera di Milano, for which they obtain the first prize ex-aequo, and in the competition for the swimming pool at the Arena of Milan, where with the project with the initials 'Year V- n.11' they win the second prize & nbsp;
1927/29 - the first works built together are the asylum of the Opera pia Porro in Barlassina and the Casa Puricelli & nbsp;
1928 - both obtained the qualification for the profession of architect and opened the studio 'Asnago-Vender architetti' in via Cappuccio 11, where already; had studio Asnago and where they will remain until 1971 & nbsp;
1929 - they won the third prize in the competition for the facade of the new horse artillery barracks in Milan & nbsp;
1930 - starting from the IV Triennale of '30 , when they exhibit some furniture they are invited to more & ugrave; editions of the exhibition & nbsp;
1930/38 - in this period Asnago and Vender participate in various competitions, such as those for the government building in Sondrio in 1930, for the covered market in Como in 1932, for the Florence station in 1933 and for the palace of the armed forces in Rome in 1938 & nbsp;
1933 - they participate in the Milan Triennale with various works: in the first gallery in Italy, within the section 'Works recently built by Italian architects', they present the elementary schools of Cesano Maderno and the house in via Mac Mahon 32; in the section 'Projects of typical buildings' an urban school study; in the 'Interior Architecture' section of the second gallery in Italy, the shop La citta & agrave; of Como; & nbsp;
1936 - at the VI Triennale, in the gallery of Italian architecture, they exhibit the projects for the villa Marelli in Cant & ugrave; and for the Vigano shop & nbsp;
1939 - with the house in via Col Moschin and the Zanoletti palace, they reach a marked individuality; of language that gives them a certain publicistic success & nbsp;
1940 - they are awarded the 'grand prize' at the VII Triennale & nbsp;
1947 - they participate in their last Triennale (VII) where in the 'International photographic exhibition of architecture 'the farmhouses in Torrevecchia Pia are exhibited & nbsp;
1952 - exhibit nine projects in an exhibition dedicated to contemporary Italian architecture set up at the Royal Institute of London, where they are presented as' members of the MSA', to which they officially enroll only in 1955 & nbsp;
1955/65 - sees the beginning of the collaboration with the Pessina company with which they will build many buildings & nbsp;
1971 - when Asnago retires from work, Vender continues the activity & agrave; with Mario Moganti and his son Mario Vender in the studio in via Vincenzo Monti
