Eero Saarinen (1910-1961)
Eero Saarinen & egrave; son of the famous Finnish architect and & egrave; first president of the "Crembruk Academy of arts" Eliel Saarinen.
After studying sculpture in Paris he studied architecture at Yale, where he graduated in 1934.
In 1937 he began a collaboration with Charles Eames leading him to develop a series of very avant-garde furniture awarded several times at the "Organic design in home furnishings" competition organized by the "Museum of Modern Art" in New York.
Disegner & agrave ;, more 'forward, very successful furniture for "Knoll International".
His most & ugrave; great architectural project remains the famous "TWA Kennedy Airport" terminal in New York.
