Marbles

The marbles used are top-quality, purchased directly from the quarries where they are extracted. The slabs are machined using a numerically controlled machine, ensuring perfect workmanship down to the smallest details (polishing, edging, drilling). The surfaces are then treated with a nanotechnological waterproofing liquid that provides immediate stain protection. To avoid stains caused by contact with liquids, we recommend cleaning within 10 minutes. Our quality control team will carefully inspect each finished surface to ensure an excellent final result. Some marbles are also available with a polyester lacquer finish, a permanent treatment using a glossy transparent resin applied to the surface, making it virtually waterproof. The drawbacks of polyester are that it scratches easily with use and tends to yellow over time, even over several years. This also depends greatly on the amount of sunlight and the cleaning products used.

N.B. Marble is a natural stone that may exhibit natural imperfections, the main ones being:

Color and vein variations: Each slab is different, with shades, intensities, and patterns that can vary even within the same block.
Micro-cracks or fissures: Marble often features small, fine lines, similar to cracks, which do not compromise the structure but are natural geological characteristics.
Holes or "taroli" (Porosity): These are small surface holes resulting from the natural formation process.
Mineral inclusions: The presence of other minerals that create spots or spots of different colors or grain within the stone.
Why are these "imperfections" important?
Uniqueness: No two pieces will ever be identical.
Authenticity: They are proof that it is genuine natural stone.
Processing: These characteristics are often treated with techniques such as grouting or resining to make the surface uniform, but they are not considered defects.
